The Eden Ring mod may be the best mod for all space exploration fans who want to discover other habitable planets. It allows you to travel to a new dimension in Minecraft within a planetary ring that surrounds a blue gas giant. Because of some strange gravity anomalies, this ring has an atmosphere and appears to be capable of supporting life. Are you ready to put on your space suit and explore this new world? If so, then let’s take a look at what this mod has to offer.

Nope, you don’t need a spaceship

This mod begins by building a portal. 12 waxed copper blocks, 12 waxed cut copper stairs, 4 amethyst blocks, 4 amethyst clusters, 1 gold block, and 1 flint and steel are required. After constructing the portal with the gold block in the center, you must activate it by lighting that central gold block on fire with flint and steel.

When you approach the portal, it will emit a purple ray of light, transporting you into the Eden Ring. The Eden Ring adds twelve new biomes, four new wood types, and one new mob to the game.

What to expect once you get there

Because they are debris within a planet’s ring, the terrain inside this new world appears to be floating islands. The stone garden biome is one of the biomes found in it. It’s essentially a biome in which grasses and vegetation grow on top of stones. Another biome is the garden forest biome. It has orange grass, brown tree trunks, and yellow leaves, similar to the regular forest biome except everything is yellow.

The pulse forest biome is where this mod gives us a bit more of a mystical-extraterrestrial vibe. It has strange blue-green luminous trees and purple plants growing in it. The brainstorm biome contains trees with brain-shaped leaves. The lakeside desert biome consists of sandy floating islands with blue plants growing on them. Tall purple trees grow in mycotic forests. These are just some of the biomes this mod has to offer. You can rest assured that it has a lot more inside it, so make sure to check it out today! Another fun fact, this mod was created by the same person that worked on the BetterNether Mod.
