The Better Nether mod adds a version of the nether you’ve never seen before. It’s as if someone decided that the plain hellish look of nether is just too boring, and decided to give it a makeover. The Better Nether mod has a lot of added elements that can improve the way you mine materials from the nether. Not only that, but this mod also includes new biomes, structures, mobs, and sets of gears.

New places to visit

Who would’ve thought that nether needed biomes? Now that you know you can have them, you’ll surely find it hard to revert to plain nether! With this dimension mod, the nether gets biomes such as the jungle, mushroom forest, and the lava fortress.

The jungle biome looks a bit eerie with all the eyeball-looking blocks hanging down from the cave ceiling. The mushroom forest looks like a giant moldy place, and the lava fortress is a dungeon where you can fight all sorts of old and new mobs.

New creatures to die from

Speaking of new mobs, the Better Nether Mod 1.19.3 gives us new mobs such as the hydrogen jellyfish, the naga, and the jungle skeleton. The hydrogen jellyfish is an interesting mob, you can kill it with one punch, but doing so would make it explode and destroy anything surrounding it. The naga is a long-ranged, aggressive mob that’ll attack you on sight. Finally, the jungle skeleton is a mob that could either wield a sword, a bow, or a shield. Coming across a party of these skeletons would surely be a tough battle to fight.

The Better Nether mod brings a brand-new perspective to the nether dimension. This mod works with Fabric, so the Fabric API would need to be installed first. If you find yourself often being told to go to hell, you might as well download the Better Nether mod before you do so.
