The Twilight Forest mod is epic. It offers a new dimension where you can take on brand-new enemies and scavenge unique items to craft great gear. The creation of a portal is the first step. A diamond, some flowers, and some water are required.

Dig a 2×2 pit in the ground and fill it with water. After that, put flowers of any color around the 2×2 pool you’ve constructed, then throw a diamond into the water. Once everything is in place, a bolt of lightning will strike the water, turning it into a portal you can use to enter the Twilight Forest.

New armor sets

Chests with special armor sets and pre-applied enchantments can be found in the caves of the Twilight Forest. You can make these items with resources you can get by eliminating special mobs and bosses. The first piece of gear is the ironwood armor set, which is enhanced with enchantments like protection, feather falling, and knockback to make it stronger than iron.

Another set is the fiery armor set, which has excellent defense and ignites your foes when you are hit by enemies. The steel leaf set is enchanted with several forms of protection that are helpful for gathering and mining resources. And last but not least is the Knightly armor set, a set that incredibly boosts your attacks to mobs with no armors.

New mobs

Unusual bosses are definitely one of this mod’s main focuses. You can battle an ur-ghast in the Twilight Forest. It’s a huge flying ghast that launches fireballs in your direction and conjures up a hailstorm for AOE assaults. Since the ur-ghast attacks in a variety of directions when employing this move, the hailstorm attack is rather simple to avoid, but the fireball attack hits you more precisely. One of the most annoying bosses is the twilight lich.

It’s harder for you to hit this boss because it teleports quickly and at unpredictable times. It surrounds itself with shields, which you need to break to really inflict actual damage. The hydra is the biggest and toughest boss you’ll encounter in the Twilight Forest, each time you kill a head it grows two in place. It has all sorts of attacks which makes it difficult for you to fight it either from a short or a long distance.
