Tropicraft mod is a really fun mod that adds the tropical dimension where you can find a lot of new stuff to craft and use. It is comparable to the twilight forest mod because they both add new mobs, new materials, and new tools that are both fun and useful. The Tropicraft mod brings in a lot of new content that will surely make your Minecraft game time worthwhile. This mod may be a little outdated but it is still very popular.

What you need to get to the tropics

The first thing you would want to know is how you get into the tropical dimension. This mod gives us one of the most unique ways to achieve that. Most portals are made by building blocks together and adding catalysts like water or fire in the middle in order to activate the portal.

The Tropicraft mod is really unique. It requires you to craft a chair, place it on a beach, sit on it and drink a pina colada before sunrise.

A really unique portal

In order to make the chair, you need some bamboo and some wool. For the pina colada, you’ll need to first craft an empty bamboo mug using bamboo. Then you’ll need to gather coconut and pineapple. Once you have those ingredients you can now craft a pina colada. With the chair set up on the beach and the pina colada in hand, all you need to do is sit on the chair, wait for sunrise, and drink the pina colada. You’ll then be transported to the tropical realm.

What to expect once you’re there

The tropical realm showcases a lot of unique elements such as the villagers who look like a mixture of Mauri and Nigerian tribes. Unique mobs like monkeys and iguanas are also present. Trees like orange and lemon are also found within this dimension.

Tropical-themed gears and tools will most likely be your main grind. Probably one of the most notable aspects of this dimension is the leaf particles being blown by the wind. It adds a really calm atmosphere that makes you appreciate the mod a lot.
