The BuildCraft mod adds Pipes, Machines, and Minecraft Joules into your game. With this mod, you can create, and move items, liquids, and mechanical energy between inventories and machines through pipes. This mod showcases various kinds of pipes, including wood, cobblestone, stone, sandstone, iron, gold, diamond, emerald, and obsidian, each having a special purpose. Pipes can be connected with Pipe Sealant to create Fluid Pipes, which can transport liquids, or Kinesis Pipes, which can transmit mechanical energy when paired with Redstone.
Machines and energy
There are several machines in this technology mod that can be used to automate procedures. To function, they are all dependent on Redstone Flux energy, which is given by one or more engines. This mod has Minecraft Joules, which are used to power BuildCraft and BuildCraft-compatible machines. This mod adds more materials including gears, transport items, gates, and engines that use Minecraft Joules as a means to measure power.
The quarry mines an area all the way down to lava or bedrock. Mining Well drills down straight until it meets bedrock or lava. A pump is a device that moves liquids through watertight pipes. An Auto Crafting table is a device that produces items after receiving a recipe and materials. Materials are taken out of a nearby chest and used.
When fueled by an engine, a Refinery will gradually transform crude oil into fuel, which is significantly more effective for powering internal combustion engines. Finally, a Tank has the capacity to hold liquids like lava, water, oil, and fuel. Functionality wise, this mod will remind you of other popular tech mods such as the Pipez mod, which also allows for the transportation of items, liquids, and energy through pipes.

Installation
- First, you need to download Forge Modloader.
- Once it has finished downloading, you open the file and install Forge.
