The Botania mod is a huge mod revolving around flower magic. It is such a huge mod that it requires you to have a spell book called “Lexica Botania”.

Flower petals

The main resource you need in Botania is the mystical flowers found all around the in-game world, and are part of the world generation. Although farming them can provide more yield which can help you a lot in the long run instead of just hunting them.

The collected flowers can be turned into petals which are then turned into dyes with the use of a mortar and pestle. Once you got the dyes, you can then mix them with “bone meal” in order to make a floral fertilizer.

The apothecary

The floral fertilizer makes botanical flowers grow within its perimeter. Applying bone meal to the flowers will turn them into tall flowers. Tall flowers provide more petals. These petals can be combined with stones in order to make the petal apothecary. Once you have the apothecary you can then chuck four mystical white petals and seed to the apothecary filled with water and it will give you a pure daisy. Pure daisies are planted beside stone and wood blocks in order to turn them into living rock and living wood.

Living woods and rocks

Living wood is used to craft the wand of the forest, and living stone is used to craft a mana pool. In order to make the mana pool work, it needs a mana spreader which you can craft using a gold ingot, a mystical petal, and living wood. Once you have these tools you can then refer to the Lexica Botanica in order to transmute regular items into their higher counterparts.

For example, iron turns into mana steal. These new materials are then used as recipes for a huge catalog of brand-new useful tools that have abilities and attributes far superior to what vanilla Minecraft offers.
